The day I won the lotto and lost the lotto ticket-By Aurel

The day I won the lotto and lost the lotto ticket

I FINALLY FOUND IT THE TICKET I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR SO MANY MONTHS.

Okay, let me tell you the whole story. I was walking down the street. It was a very luminous night the sky was filled with stars. I was walking towards my car when I saw The Lotto I went inside. After a few minutes, I came running out with a massive smile on my face. I started screaming “I WON THE LOTTO”.

I ran to my car, sat inside and drove home. I told my twin sister Jeniffer that I [Jane] had won the lotto. However, I didn’t expect a twist in my story because of the next day. I was out outside and shopping, and it was a sweltering day. I decided to get ice cream and by the time I got there I fainted. All I remembered was that I felt dizzy and my eyes shut. The nurse was putting a plaster on my head. She said because I fell on the concrete my hand broke and my head was bleeding. I remembered about my lotto ticket when she was done I rushed outside where Jeniffer was standing with flowers. She asked if I was okay. I replied that I was feeling better, but my head felt heavy. Then I questioned Jeniffer to weather she knows where my lotto ticket is?. She told me that I left it inside with the nurse that was curing me. I was about to run inside when the nurse came she said to me that I had left the bag and that it has a hole so that something could have fallen out I searched my bag the only thing I put in there was my lotto ticket and wallet. My wallet was safe but my lotto ticket…

”ITS GONE”.I asked the nurse smiled at me serenely it was like she knew where it was. Jeniffer told me that I would find it, but for now, I need to rest. At my house, my cousins, mum, dad, Aunty, Uncle and my friends were all there. They tried to make me happy by playing my favourite game, but nothing worked just then my cousin [Jen] said “Let’s play guess where Jane’s lotto ticket could be” “ME, FIRST !” shouted Jen.”I think it’s on the pavement “LET ME GUESS !” said my friend Mia. “I think it’s inside her plaster cast”. “That would be weird,” said Jen. After that, I wasn’t sad about the lotto ticket.

A few months later I was getting my cast removed I told the nurse that was removing my cast the whole story. She was nearly done removing the cast when she stared at me in suspense. “I-I know where your lotto ticket is,” said the nurse...

I stared down my ticket was inside my cast. I screamed happily. That's when I realised why the nurse that had helped me had a serene smile because she knew where my ticket was. I was so happy that day.

Banks

                                                    Banks

Banks are a place where you can trust and store your money without worrying about getting stolen. Banks can give your money to others but remember banks don’t give the money away for free. If banks do give your money to someone else that person has to pay back,  For example, a lady asks for 200$ and the bank takes money out of your account and gives to the lady soon the lady returns and pays the bank the 200$ and the bank pays you the 200$ back. It’s basically working in a circle.

What’s the difference between a piggy bank, safe and vault?

Piggy banks are a place for kids to store their money that has been given to them by their parents.

A safe is a place where people store their money. For instance, you have money that you don’t want to put in your account. The bank automatically put it in a safe but a safe is not as secure as a vault.

A vault is secure and spacious. A vault is a place you can trust the most to store something too precious to you like jewellery.

When did banks start?

The idea of banks began as long ago as 1,800 BC in Babylon. In those days moneylenders made loans to people. In Greece and Rome banks made loans and accepted deposits. In that time money was very different and banking was very different.

What is the importance of community banking

community banks provide almost one-half of small business loans, more than 40%of farm loans, and over one-third of commercial real estate loans across the country.
